WQLN Public Media WQLN-TV 54 is your prime time connection to PBS and much more - three channels more. WQLN-TV 54.1 is the Erie area's primary PBS affiliate featuring safe children's programming every weekday from 6:00am to 6:00pm and on Saturdays from 7:00 am to 9:00am and 7:00am to 10:00am on Sundays; PBS Primetime programming every Sunday through Friday evening; British Comedies on Saturday nights; How to programming Saturday afternoons; and Travel on Sunday. WQLN-TV 54.2 is the Create Network. Create is a new network that showcases the best of how-to and do-it-yourself programs from the PBS and American Public Television libraries. Create also features LECOM Healthy Living Network with even more programs on how to live healthy and be happy. WQLN-TV 54.3 is now PBS World--featuring public television: top documentary, public affairs, and nonfiction programming. WQLN Radio-FM 91.3 is the Erie area's news, classics & jazz public radio station. WQLN Radio is affiliated with National Public Radio, Public Radio International and American Public Media. WQLN Radio airs more original hours of programming every week than any other radio station in the Greater Erie Area radio markets. How many hours? 59 - and most come from a staff of volunteer radio hosts. In addition, WQLN Radio actively promotes music awareness to people of all ages using remote broadcasts in schools, universities, and on the streets! WQLN Educational Services sustains its vibrant presence in the community by bringing thousands of hands together to help ensure bright futures for our area children. WQLN Education reaches out to everyone vested in a child's education--parents, teachers, caregivers, and the community at large. By providing professional development opportunities, family literacy workshops, adult education programs, town hall meetings, and educational community events, WQLN is truly changing lives.

WQLN Education offers quality academic and outreach opportunities for school-age children, families, and educational professionals. In doing so, we aim at increasing student academic success, increasing awareness in the role families play in achieving academic success, and increasing classroom teachers and day care workers instructional knowledge, thus aiding their efforts to attain or keep a highly qualified status.
