The creation of this new website is the result of one of 35 recommendations from CultureSpark, the Erie County Cultural Master Plan that was completed in May 2010. The Master Plan was designed to take stock of existing cultural resources and the ways in which they benefit the community; to gain community and stakeholder input into setting future cultural priorities and to further integrate cultural development as a tool for building prosperity, vitality, creativity and community. The plan serves as the roadmap for art, culture and heritage for the next 10 years with implementation being led by ArtsErie and The Nonprofit Partnership.
